Personalized Delivery

We are very excited to announce that Digesto Personalized Delivery is now live and available for all clients!

What is Personalized delivery?

Personalized Delivery matches your newly published content feed directly with individual subscriber preferences stored in Marketo. When Digesto executes on your scheduled run, it crafts and dispatches customized emails containing only the specific categories, topics, or authors your subscribers have selected.

Optimizing Your Content Supply Chain

For enterprise brands, the content supply chain—the end-to-end process of planning, producing, and delivering content—frequently breaks down at the final mile. While high-quality articles are created at scale, distribution often remains generic, leading to content fatigue and rising unsubscribe rates.

Personalized Delivery acts as the optimization layer for this final mile. By automating content-to-preference matching, it ensures that your specialized assets reach the specific readers who want them most, maximizing content ROI and boosting overall brand perception.

Key Enhancements from 1-to-1 (Beta) to Personalized Delivery

  • Self-Service Configuration: You no longer need to contact Digesto Support to set up or modify your personalization settings. Configure preference tracking, custom criteria, and field mapping directly inside the revamped Digest Editor.

  • Flexible Dimension Matching: Select your personalization criteria directly from your Digest edotr—such as Author, Topic, Category, or custom fields—independently.

  • Marketo Field Mapping: Directly map preference-tracking custom fields from your Marketo Person records within the Digesto interface.

  • Smart List Support: Digesto can now pull subscribers directly from Marketo Smart Lists. You no longer need to run complex background operations to keep a static "Blog Subscribers" list updated.

  • Simplified Marketo Campaign Structure: The new Personalized Delivery requires only two Smart Campaigns in your Marketo Program template. No more Triggers are required

UI/UX & Digest Editor Upgrades

  • New "Content" section : Easily toggle a Digest between Standard (sending all new articles to everyone) and Personalized delivery.

  • Improved Digest Preview: Added a "Refresh" button and a visual spinner to the preview window, allowing users to see real-time updates of their content more easily.

  • Expanded Previews: Desktop previews now support full-width viewing for better visibility of email layouts.

  • Smarter Field Validation: The UI now features better reactivity and visual cues (spinners) during field validation to confirm settings are correct.

  • Clearer Instructions & User Documentation: Improved messaging and instructions during the "Build" and "Test" phase of a Digest to guide users through the sending process more effectively.

  • Added icon for renaming your Digest: editing your digest name is now more intuitive with a new prominent icon that indicates the editable area

Billing & Account Management

We have updated our backend systems to provide a more modern and secure subscription experience.

  • New Checkout Experience: Migration to a new checkout page for more secure and streamlined subscription management.

  • Onboarding Feedback: Improved notifications during new account registration to provide clearer feedback to new users.

Framework, Security, & Designer Experiments

  • Security & Infrastructure: Core framework libraries have been updated to the latest security standards, optimizing processing speeds during bulk lead exports and imports.

  • Marketo Email Designer Experiments: Experimental support has been added to ensure seamless rendering when exporting feeds into the latest Marketo Email Designer templates. See our latest review.
