If something is wrong with your Digest and it fails to run properly, you (or your registered Admin user) will receive an email alert with a description of what went wrong.
The error will repeat for each scheduled job until it is resolved or until you turn your Digest off. For a list of common errors and how to troubleshoot them, have a look at this article.
